Lynn Hatcher was born in Warner Robins, GA in 1976. After a few years in NJ, her family settled in Atlanta, GA and she graduated from Cross Keys High School in 1994. Lynn received a scholarship in art to attend The University of Georgia and received her B.F.A. in painting in 1998. While attending UGA, she was the Head Cake Decorator at the Kroger in Athens.

     Since graduating from UGA in 1998, Lynn has held a variety of positions, each utilizing her artistic and managerial skills. In both her positions at the Spruill Gallery and Meisha Merlin Publishing, Inc. Lynn had the opportunity to work with local school groups and became aware of the gift of working with high school students.

     Lynn enrolled to attain her Masters in Art Education from Georgia State University and will graduate in the Summer of 2009. She hopes to gain a teaching position in an Atlanta area High School and share her real world gallery and design skills with our future artists.
